The ‘Great White North’ would not be complete without blizzard conditions, freezing rain, nor’easters, and icy Arctic air. True to form, Canada is still the second coldest country in the world and the snowiest. One again we brace for a classic Canadian winter because according to long-range forecast we are well on our way for a wild ride.
The only region of Canada not following the nation-wide trend is Nunavut, which has seen warming temperatures in recent years due to climate change. Once again, Nunavut can expect warmer than usual temperatures along with average levels of snow.
On the bright side – an excellent ski season is predicted so get out your skis and hit the slopes.
I’m staying in!
