Nonfiction is a very important genre of books. Non-fiction attempts to convey information about the real world, rather than being swept away by the imagination. The three main purposes for writing are to
- persuade,
- inform, and
- entertain.
Choose subjects that aren’t boring to you. Add in your own excitement over the topic to choose the most interesting aspect of the subject instead of simply skimming the easy to find facts (which are often the most boring). Spice up boring nonfiction into something palatable.
