Improper relations between a teacher and student is a felony, punishable by up to 14 years in prison. While most claims of sexual abuse are true from a statistical standpoint, some are lodged falsely and must be exposed.
It is important to note that the number of false allegations of child sexual abuse is lower than the number of children who do not disclose such abuse or who lie by saying it did not occur. Professional misconduct is the breach of trust between teacher and student with severe repercussions.
