Resilience is not a trampoline, where you’re down one moment and up the next. It’s more like climbing a mountain without a map. It takes time, strength, and help from people around you. When you reach the top, look back and see how far you’ve come.

Human life is not for the faint of heart. The road we walk has many twists and turns, inclines and drop offs. It’s littered with days and months and years of inclement weather, distractions and disappointments. It’s not easy, but it’s what this life is. If you could ask any animal, wandering the planet, they would say that it’s hard being a living thing.

Resilience is the core strength needed to lift the load of life.

Nothing lasts in this world and that includes the bad things, sad things and hard things. Difficulties shift like sand along the shoreline.

Humans were built for change. It is what we excel at. People are experts at adapting, adjusting and acclimating, resilient and steadfast. We have survived horrific events for thousands of years by working together and learned that if we look after each other, the burden is lighter and easier to carry. We don’t always get it right, but when we do, it is glorious, like having the sun in your pocket on a cold day.

  • There are so many good people.
  • There are so many helpful, authentic, lovely people.
  • They are easy to spot.
  • They’re always the ones helping other people.
  • They are always the ones showing compassion and reason and mercy.
  • They are always the ones with an even hand, extended outward, lifting us all up.

LIFE’S FACTS:

The best is yet to come.
And the worst is yet to come.
That is what life is all about.
Being good hearted will give you plenty of happy days, because you’ll be with the people that help you and lift you up. Your friends, are your treasure.
